A Little About Me
I began my journey in Raqs Sharqi (belly dance) at the age of 8, studying at the Carolina Velosa Studio in Bogotá, Colombia, from April 2004 to August 2017. During this time, I also performed in two major productions: Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty. Additionally, I studied salsa dance at the Delirio Studio in Cali, Colombia, from March 2000 to May 2016.
From January 2015 to July 2017, I taught beginner-level Raqs Sharqi techniques to teenagers aged 14 to 17 in Bogotá. I have also competed in salsa at the national and international levels with the Delirio Company and participated in various workshops and competitions. Currently, I am studying belly dance at all levels with Satya at Bloom Movement Artistry and taking Danzas del Oriente coursework at Prem Shakti Academy with Antonina Canal.
