Above the Loop on Sling – Intermediate Level
December 23, 2023 at 12:00 pm – $80
This workshop focuses on maneuvering into the free space ‘above the loop.’ Students will learn various wrapping techniques and methods to create shapes while maintaining slack below them. The session will cover different entrances into the free space, along with a variety of exit techniques.
Prerequisites:
- Must be able to cleanly and easily invert
- Must be able to stay in their invert, hook a knee, and hold with one hand to wrap the fabric below them.

Dynamic Movement on Lyra – Intermediate Level
December 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm – $80
In this workshop, students will learn different flips and slides on the hoop to emphasize the dynamic nature of the hoop. Students will take several commonly known poses and learn different drops and slides out of them in order to add a different flare to these tricks.
Prerequisites:
- Must be able to straddle invert and tuck/pike invert under the bar with straight legs safely, easily and without assistance
- Prior experience with dynamic movement in hoop
- Ease with foundational hoop skills
